THE KOZY CATS

The Kozy Cats

Returning to the Jazz Café for their 4th annual summer show, the Kozy Cats sprinkle Jazz standards over highly danceable arrangements of Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston and even The Monkees. This nine-member powerhouse features vocalists Mickenzie Manning and Walter Brown, guitarist Mike McNamara, keyboardist Alfred Walker, bassist Carter Blough, drummer Kim Ruder, trumpeter Dave Triplett, and saxophonists Neal Bowens and Allen Burris.

LISA STANO

Lisa Stano

The Lisa Stano Medley is a Richmond based Jazz group with roots that reach back to the San Francisco Bay Area. The project centers on Lisa Stano, whose work as both vocalist and double bassist shapes the group’s sound from Jazz to soul, folk, and blues. The lineup also includes Jack Girerd on keys, Matt Woodhouse on drums, and James Copeland on saxophone.

Velvet richness of R&B blended with the timeless charm of Jazz standards create performances that feel both nostalgic and new. Graystone band performs to sold-out performances across Central Virginia, the Tobacco Company, Mainline Brewery, the Henrico Theatre, River City Roll, and more. Featuring the dynamic vocals of Sheri Tyler.

Triple Crossing Jazz Project

Triple Crossing Jazz Project is Richmond’s toe-tapping classic Jazz combo specializing in Swing classics, Jazz and Blues. Named after the famed triple crossing railways in Downtown RVA, the core of the group consists of Piano, Bass, Drums, and band leader Jay Brown, on Tenor Sax & vocals. Come experience live, local Jazz with a touch of class.
